CloverBee Maker
Terms
Last updated: October 1, 2026.
1. About Maker
CloverBee Maker ("Maker") is a business-operations application provided by CloverBee Ventures ("CloverBee", "we", "us" or "our"). Maker is designed to help small businesses organize products, materials, recipes, production, inventory, orders, sales, expenses, payments, tax records, reports and related business information.
2. Accounts and business authority
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting access to your account and authorized devices, and using Maker only for businesses and records you are authorized to manage. Business owners are responsible for deciding who may access their Maker business and for the actions of authorized users.
3. Free and Paid plans
Maker 1.0 offers Free and Maker Paid in the same app. Canadian pricing is C$0 for Free and C$8.99/month or C$89.99/year for Maker Paid. Store pricing, taxes and availability are the amounts shown in the applicable app store at the time of purchase.
Plan limits and features are described on the Maker website and in the app. Free and Paid may have different limits for users, devices, storage, attachments, reports, reminders and other capabilities. A downgrade does not by itself delete historical business records, although paid-only creation or editing functions may become unavailable after the paid entitlement ends.
4. Subscription billing
Maker Paid subscriptions on iOS are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store. Subscription renewal, cancellation, refunds, payment methods and store-account billing are governed by Apple's terms and controls. Unless the store states otherwise, recurring subscriptions continue until cancelled. Cancelling a subscription ends future renewal; paid access normally continues through the paid-through period communicated by the store. Google Play terms will apply separately if and when the Android release becomes available.
CloverBee does not receive or store your full app-store payment-card details. Maker may receive transaction, product, purchase-status and entitlement information needed to verify and provide paid access.
5. Maker Modules
Maker may offer optional first-party feature modules in the future. A module may be included with a plan, sold as a one-time purchase, or offered as an additional recurring subscription. Any module price, requirements and included features will be shown before purchase. References to future Maker Modules on the website are not a promise that a specific module will be released.
6. Square and other payment services
Maker integrates with Square Point of Sale. Square processes customer card or wallet payments under its own terms, fees, eligibility requirements and privacy practices. Maker passes the exact CAD balance to Square, validates the returned result and records a successful payment once in the Maker business ledger. Square Point of Sale must be installed and configured separately.
CloverBee does not set or collect the payment processor's merchant fees and does not make the third-party provider's service available on the provider's behalf. Users remain responsible for their own merchant account and compliance with the provider's terms.
7. Business records and data
You retain ownership of the business information you enter into Maker. You grant CloverBee the limited rights needed to host, process, synchronize, back up, secure and transmit that information to provide the service. Maker includes export and account/business deletion processes as described in the product and Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for deciding what records your business must retain and for keeping any additional copies or source documents required by law, tax rules, contracts or your own business practices.
8. No tax, accounting, payroll or legal advice
Maker organizes information and performs calculations based on data and settings supplied by the user. It does not determine legal tax liability, tax recoverability, deductible expenses, payroll obligations, regulatory compliance or the correct legal/accounting treatment for a business. Maker is not a substitute for professional tax, accounting, payroll or legal advice.
9. Service availability and changes
Maker is designed for offline-capable operation, but some functions require network access or third-party services. We may update, repair, change or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal requirements, platform changes or product development. We will not intentionally use a plan change as a reason to delete a user's historical business records without the separate deletion process described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Acceptable use
Do not use Maker to interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access to another business's data, distribute malware, abuse third-party integrations, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
11. Release and testing builds
TestFlight, beta and other testing builds may contain defects or temporary limitations. Testers should not rely on a testing build as their sole copy of records that cannot be recreated. Feedback supplied during testing may be used to improve Maker.
